The European Jewish Congress determined the fact that during the last weeks tens of thousands of radical islamists have demanded during demonstrations all over Europe a Holy war “ (jihad), the killing of Jews and the introduction of Sharia.

The EJC also saw parts of Europe as being „ripe“ for an attack by the Islamic State (IS). during the last weeks tens of thousands of radical islamists have demanded during demonstrations all over Europe a „Holy war “ (jihad), the killing of Jews and the introduction of Sharia, EJC President Moshe Kantor declared last Monday in Brussels. Increasing attacks on Jewish buildings show, too, that the issue is to spark a “religious war” in the continent.

He also said that a hesitant intervention by part of the authorities have encouraged extremists. It is “clear, that terrorist groups like IS, whose flag has been swung all across Europe, observe the impunity of those aggressive demonstrations and takes note of the situation”.

The president of the EJC also pointed to the murder last May of four individuals in the Jewish Museum in Brussels by a perpetrator having been trained in Syria and with connections to the IS. As long as the political leadership does not hinder the travel of fanatic terrorists to Europe nor act against extremist preachers, incitement to hatred and dormant (terrorist) cells, this would be possibly just “the first of many attacks”, he said.

It is of „vital importance“ that European governments act with a zero-tolerance policy against incitement to or support of violence, the president of the EJC said. Furthermore, he emphasized that Europe is going through the worst period of anti-Semitism since the end of the holocaust. “the governments should protect first and foremost the Jewish community"
The non-Jewish governments should protect first and foremost the Jewish communities? Really? And what about your allies the Muslims?
“Just as European Muslim and Jewish leaders joined forces in recent months in successfully combating an effort by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to outlaw circumcision and to protest Denmark’s new law banning kosher and halal slaughtering, we will now stand together and speak with one voice against efforts by the extremist parties to implement their hateful agenda"
It is your way of thinking which is utmost opportunistically extreme, you know. Why don't you ask Muslims for help against IS? Or is it that Muslims have suddenly turned into unsuitable allies?
