Pentagon asks for extra $100 million to Israel

Congress approved anadditional $235 million in U.S. military aid to Israel, Ynet reports. The U.S. allocates to Israel approximately $2.5 billion in aid, per year.

The request, which boosts the total amount allocated for 2012 to $25 million more than the last fiscal year (the 2011 budget was $3.075 billion), came from the Pentagon in order to help Israel in "development of safeguards against rockets and missiles that could be launched towards Israel by Hezbollah and Iran."

Ynet reports:

Pentagon officials were the ones who requested that Congress approve a $106 million aid budget for Israel's defense systems against missiles, on top of the Iron Dome budget. Congress chose to nearly double that amount, approving a budget of $235 million for 2012, amounting to $25 million more than in 2011.

Since 1949, Congress has distributed over $114 billion in U.S. aid to Israel.

Congress and the White House have been "listening" to the American people the same way they always do -- with their middle fingers.

The Bill of Rights is no more. On December 15th, 2011 at the hands of a metastasizing malignancy, masquerading as purveyors of freedom, whatever hope we had of liberty and the pursuit of peace was officially assassinated. We are now a police state.

Overwhelming feelings of searing rage and disgust at the wicked abomination that is our Congress and President cannot be contained. Our government, courts, military and law enforcement -- which have been controlled by socio/psychopaths for decades -- continues to decompose into a rabid, sleazy, moronic, delusional group of arrogant, self-serving, sycophantic, greedy, whores.

It's time to dispense with semantic subtleties meant to placate and avoid offense. Diplomacy is reserved for those who are worthy. No more time to waste on pandering to, analyzing, intellectualizing or sugar-coating treachery. The State is the enemy of the people. Those responsible for instilling fear, subjugation, humiliation, imprisonment, torture and murder are our own government terrorists--the U.S. Congress, the President of the United States and their minions.

They have betrayed the American citizenry, as they have the rest of the world. They have defiled and destroyed the Constitution. They have committed treason. They are grinding the 99% into the ground with every stroke of the pen; every vote cast in the name of enriching their corporate umbilical cords and bank accounts. They do not deserve respect. They are thieves who have hijacked their positions of power. They deserve exactly what the National Defense Authorization Act will now so freely foist upon the rest of us -- to be tossed into a hole to rot somewhere without benefit of charges, trial, or protection from torture and murder, for the rest of their miserable, worthless existences.

One owes no civility to barbarians. No benevolence to fascists. Capitol Hill and the White House have declared war on the American people. Their intent is crystal clear for all paying attention. Conspiracy theory 'lunatics' are having the last laugh as their warnings are now bearing fruit. It is no longer outrageous conjecture to believe our own government is intent on our demise.

The United States Army is actively recruiting individuals for internment camp guards. The military does not recruit people for phantom positions for which they intend no future use.

Thud of the Jackboot

December 23, 2011 "Counterpunch" - -Too bad Kim Jong-il kicked the bucket last weekend. If the divine hand that laid low the North Korean leader had held off for a week or so, Kim would have been sustained by the news that President Obama is signing into law a bill that puts the United States not immeasurably far from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in contempt of constitutional protections for its citizens, or constitutional restraints upon criminal behavior sanctioned by the state.

At least the DPRK doesn’t trumpet its status as the last best sanctuary of liberty. American politicians, starting with the president, do little else.

A couple of months ago came a mile marker in America’s steady slide downhill towards the status of a Banana Republic, with Obama’s assertion that he has the right as president to order secretly the assassination, without trial, of a US citizen he deems to be working with terrorists. This followed his betrayal in 2009 of his pledge to end the indefinite imprisonment without charges or trial of prisoners in Guantanamo.

Now, after months of declaring that he would veto such legislation, Obama has now crumbled and will soon sign a monstrosity called the Levin/McCain detention bill, named for its two senatorial sponsors, Carl Levin and John McCain. It’s snugged into the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act.

The detention bill mandates – don’t glide too easily past that word - that all accused terrorists be indefinitely imprisoned by the military rather than in the civilian court system; this includes US citizens within the borders of the United States. Obama supporters have made strenuous efforts to suggest that US citizens are excluded from the bill’s provisions. Not so. “It is not unfair to make an American citizen account for the fact that they decided to help Al Qaeda to kill us all and hold them as long as it takes to find intelligence about what may be coming next,” says Senator Lindsay Graham, a big backer of the bill. “And when they say, ‘I want my lawyer,’ you tell them, ‘Shut up. You don’t get a lawyer.’” The bill’s co-sponsor, Democratic senator, cosponsor of the bill, Carl Levin says it was the White House itself that demanded that the infamous Section 1031 apply to American citizens.

Fascism is Our Guardians’ Plan for Capital Control

Since the advent of capitalism, the profit motive has revolutionized the human condition without solving the problem of poverty in human society, narratives of our Guardians notwithstanding. It has also steadily increased the imbalance of wealth on behalf of the Guardians.

Mass human poverty has been the rule since history, those fables of empire, began. A study of England’s Poor Laws going back as far as the 16th century’s onset of industrialization documents the problem.

The overwhelming majority of immigrants to the US were paupers and indentured servants who came, or were shipped, here to find work and to escape poverty. Others, for two hundred years, were impoverished humans imported in chattel slavery.

Before we get too carried away with patriotic rhetoric, remember that our nation’s founders were extraordinarily wealthy men. When Jefferson wrote “all men are created equal” its message excluded women, indentured servants, slaves, working people, tenant farmers and Native Americans, a sizeable majority of this new nation’s population.

More recently, in our own country the 1850 total population of New York City was less than 150 thousand souls. More than 10 thousand were incarcerated in that city’s debtors’ prison. More that half were there for debts of less than 25 dollars. It is reasonable to conclude that many other poor residents, not being sued for debt, were out of jail.

Today’s Occupiers might like to consider a bit of history. Disproportionate wealth distribution is hardly a new phenomenon. By 1910 the richest 10% of the US population owned 90% of the nation’s wealth. In 1912, a Presidential Commission created to study the growing imbalance of national wealth reported that 70 % of families were living below what was required for decency.

The onset of the partnership between corporations and government began around the middle of the 19th century when a new professional emerged, the lobbyist. US railroads received from the government more than 25 million acres of free land. As railroad corporations laid more than 30,000 miles of tracks, living standards for most Americans remained flat or declined. Most wage earners spent between 50 and 75 percent of their incomes on food. Between 1800 and 1850, New York City’s life expectancy at birth dropped to 24 years. In most American families no more than one-half of the children could be expected to attain maturity. Railroads magnates and the large businesses they served became wealthy.

Regardless of individual political persuasion, we support ideas of world peace, local community, opportunity for our childrens’ survival, human dignity, and the protection of earth’s life enabling environment. The greatest power possessed by our Guardians is that of continual repitition of myths and narratives that psychologically establish in viewers a world view that justifies and supports a largely fear-based psychopathogy of violence, empire, human greed, and racism. Whenever polled, we Americans soundly reject such “values”.

We can expect an escallation of self-serving myths, lies, and clever psyop narratives. The power of television to control today’s society cannot be over estimated. In 1945 there were around five thousand TV sets, with five-inch black and white screens, in US homes. Over the next six years, 17 million TV sets were sold. By 1998 there were one or more TV sets in 98% of US homes and the average viewer was spending 7 hours a day watching “the tube”. That medium has become the Guardians’ message. It must be transformed to facilitate the huge transformation of humanity back to days before the testosterone driven building of empires and a time when today’s polled values were actually those of a developing rational animal.

US Blaming Iran for 9/11: Unbelievable!

A New York judge has signed a judgment that finds Iran, along with the Taliban and al-Qaeda liable for the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks.

Press TV hasinterviewedJoshua Blakeney of Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Veterans Today from Calgary, Alberta to discuss the situation. What follows is a rough transcription of the interview:

Press TV: Josh Blakeney, let’s focus for a moment on the many doubts and questions as [another speaker on the show] Foad Izadi said that exist about the 9/11 commission.

The U.S. waged two wars using the 9/11 attacks as a pretext. What do you think about the 9/11 Commission Report and didn’t the US allow an international investigation led by the UN over the terrorist attacks?

Blakeney: Yeah, I’m doing my graduate work at the university of Lethbridge here in Canada on the events of 9/11. I’ve been studying 9/11 intensively for four years now.

And indeed I’m the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth student graduate scholarship and having studied 9/11 for 4 years I can concur with [another speaker on the show] Professor Fetzer that the official story of 9/11 is provably false.

The 9/11 commission report was a complete hoax. Philip Zelikow [executive director of the 9/11 Commission] was a Neo-conservative and therefore wasn’t disinterested enough to be conducting such an investigation.

And apparently his academic field of expertise was “the creation and maintenance of public myths” which is nonsensical although I must say one doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry when one hears these things.

When Ahmadinejad, President Ahmadinejad, did his speech at the United Nations, an exemplary speech in September 2011 with his engineering background, he implied that the official story of 9/11 must be false, especially the notion that airplanes brought down towers on 9/11.

And we were then told that al-Qaeda were angry at President Ahmadinejad, that al-Qaeda were miffed that Ahmadinejad was trying to steal their thunder for the crime that they allegedly did.

Now we are told that President Ahmadinejad is collaborating with al-Qaida and with the Taliban when anyone who has read a history of the War on Terror knows that after 9/11 the Iranian government were actually saying to the US government “look we could be an ally if you want in your war against the Taliban”.

Because the Taliban are no friends of the Iranian government, being Sunni, the Iranian government being Shia and so if it wasn’t for the fact that this was a harbinger of a storm, a harbinger of wars to come, yet more wars, massacres in the Middle East, we’d have to laugh.

Of course it’s quite jovial the fact that on 9/11 they blamed the events on Palestinians. They said the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine committed this atrocity and they showed footage from 1993 of Palestinians celebrating apparently the attacks on 9/11, you know, several years in advance.

And then we were told Saddam Hussein was complicit in the events of 9/11. A lady named Laurie Mylroie from the American Enterprise Institute was authoring propaganda against Saddam Hussein, even though he was the enemy of Islamists, you know the likes of al-Qaeda.

Then we were told the Saudis were involved even though there is no evidence that the alleged hijackers even boarded the planes or were Islamists and so that’s irrelevant. So why not add one more to the table and say that Iran was involved.

Hey, why not Syria now or North Korea, this official story of 9/11 is taking on a life of its own, how Judge George Daniels could find this in the court is beyond belief, and it indicates that the rule of law is breaking down even further in the United States.

US Police Militarized More Than Ever

The United States Department of Defense has given away nearly USD 500 million worth of leftover military gear to its local law enforcement in fiscal year 2011.

The surplus equipment includes grenade launchers, helicopters, military robots, M-16 assault rifles and armored vehicles.

Trough a little known program called 1033, passed by congress in 1997, law enforcement agencies can purchase tools from the US Military to fight drugs and terrorism.

Law enforcements military equipment purchases, which have seen dramatic rise over the past years, was at a record high in 2011 and is expected to rise higher next year as orders for fiscal year 2012 are up by 400 percent.

According to the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR), during the past decade USD 34 billion of the US federal money has been granted to local law enforcement organizations for purchasing military style equipment.

The militarization of America's metropolitan police forces was on full display in recent months as police from Los Angeles to New York cracked down on Occupy protests.

“Since Occupy Wall Street and similar protests broke out this fall, confusion about how to respond has landed some police departments in national headlines for electing to use intimidating riot gear, pepper spray and rubber bullets to disperse demonstrators. Observers have decried these aggressive tactics as more evidence that police are overly militarized,” The CIR report said.

The Occupy movement first began when a group of demonstrators gathered in New York's financial district on September 17 to protest against the unjust distribution of wealth in the country and the excessive influence of big corporations on US policies.

US police have raided most of the larger protest camps in cities like New York and Los Angeles, with the use of excessive force, arresting hundreds of activists.

It appears that Global financial oligarchs, obsessed with erasing national sovereignty world wide, like George Soros and others are instigating another revolution in Russia under the veil of "free and fair democracy".

On December 24, 2011 a second opposition rally was held in Moscow, with an estimated 28 to 120 thousand protesters, over the alleged "vote-rigging" that occurred on the December 4th election, won by Putin's United Russia party.

As reported by Reuters, the Russian novelist Boris Akunin asked protesters from a large stage. "Do you want Putin to return to the presidency?" Whistling and jeering, protesters chanted: "No!" [1]

Boris Akunin is the pen name of Grigory Shalvovich Chkhartishvili, a writer, essayist and literary translator. As of now he is the most commercially successful writer in Russia, selling around 15 million books in Russia and more than 1 million abroad. [2]

He also happens to be the former chairman of the board for a Soros fund, called the Pushkin Library, where he helped compile a 100-volume edition of the best works of Russian Literature of all time. [3]

Marianna Tax Choldin, chair of the Soros Foundation's Network Library Program was quoted in an article back in August of 2000, after being awarded the Pushkin medal by the Russian government. "Through the Soros program, we've helped dozens of libraries in many areas of library development, including automation, collection development, preservation, Internet access and training," [4]

Interestingly enough, Soros himself had received the same award previously. The medal recognizes extraordinary contributions to Russian culture and education [5]

Many other highly publicized Russian individuals attended the Moscow rally in favor of the movement on December 24th. [6]

Even while simultaneously citing rally organizers and cultural leaders, the Wallstreet/London media giants have a habit of pretending as though the Arab spring, OWS and now the Russian rallies are all part of a global leaderless, grassroots movement...

HSBC & Other Big Banks Launder Drug Money

In late July, First Niagara Financial Group announced that it would buy 195 retail bank branches in New York and Connecticut from HSBC for around $1 billion. [1] HSBC acquired the branches when it bought the spooky Marine Midland in 1980. According to Global Finance, the UK-headquartered HSBC Holdings is the world’s 3rd largest bank with $2.36 trillion in assets. [2] Formerly known as Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corporation, HSBC has served as the world’s #1 drug money laundry since its inception as a repository for British Crown opium proceeds accrued during the Chinese Opium Wars. During the Vietnam War HSBC laundered CIA heroin proceeds.

In Saigon the opium junta which Lucien Conein and Ed Lansdale had installed instructed the South Vietnamese military to dole out heroin to Chinese Triad syndicates who moved it to Hong Kong. The CIA’s Thai Generals used the same Chui Chao Triads as mafiakingpin Santos Trafficante. The Thais often sent morphine to Hong Kong, which was refined into heroin by the Hong Kong police. [3]

Deak & Company was the major gold dealer in Hong Kong and its operations were crucial to the CIA guns for heroin trade. Founded by OSS operative Nicholas Deak, it became the largest currency and gold trader in the US after WWII. Deak financed CIA adventures in Vietnam, the Mossadegh coup in Iran and the CIA’s assassination of nationalist Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba in the Congo. Deak used a Swiss subsidiary, Foreign Commerce Bank of Zurich, and its US Deak Perera branch to lure flight capital from wealthy Third World elites, mainly cocaine money from Argentina. When Deak suddenly went bankrupt in 1985, its Hong Kong depositors were left in the lurch. [4]
