The propaganda campaign against Iran, which began in its latest incarnation when the Obama administration falsely accused Tehran of plotting to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Washington, has already lost steam.

Officials in Washington and Tel Aviv have failed to convince the international community that a) Iran has a nuclear bomb, and b) a nuclear Iran poses a significant threat to the existence of Israel, or the security of the world.

Iran's rise in the region represents the end of the dominance of the Anglo-American empire and Israel, not the end of the world.

The geopolitical shift towards the balance of powers within the Middle East is healthy and beneficial for both the region and the world. For the past sixty years Israel has not been afraid of attacking any of her neighbours, so a new power on the scene is good because it will put this bully in check. Somebody needs to knock some sense into Israeli leaders and make them reevaluate their current destructive and criminal behavior.

But the maniacs and state terrorists who are guiding America's Middle East strategy want us to fear a Middle East in which nations are held accountable for their aggressive policies. Washington's cult of death want people everywhere to hide under their desks because of the "Iranian bomb," like it is 1959.

Their partners in crime in Israel are even more delusional and out of touch with reality. Its moronic leader has the chutzpah to compare himself to Churchill and believes the world is 1939 all over again.

It's like we're all trapped in a bad film.

Around the world, the public's patience regarding the decade-long war of terror has run thin. In Pakistan there is hatred against America because it is acting like a bully and still has the audacity to claim it is a leader in a war against religious extremism. This populist feeling will only grow in the months ahead because it is more than likely that the unfolding breakdown of relations between both countries will reach a catastrophic end.

I've written before that the war criminals who did the 9/11 attacks will once again turn to false flag terrorism in America to ruin Pakistan, rescue themselves from the negative poll numbers in America and start World War III in the Middle East.

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran have all been targeted for destruction by Israel and the Anglo=American empire, after which they will be brought under the control of a global fascist state. This scenario seems more plausible as each day passes.

A full=scale war with Pakistan to capture its loose nukes will end in ecological, economic, and human disaster. And an attack on Iran by would be a suicidal move and accomplish none of the stated objectives. It will only accelerate the downfall of American power in the Middle East, and turn Israel into history's most hated nation, for good reason.

Why is America waging a world war in the Middle East if it is not reaping any benefits from it? Why is it destroying itself in the process of fighting a manufactured threat called terrorism?

The answer is simple.

America has not gone wild in the Middle East, drunk with power and hungry for loot. The world is not threatened by American hegemony. Rather, a much darker, and more powerful force is directing events to its own satisfaction. Let's call it the International Banking Regime, (IBR).

America has been under the occupation of this regime since December 23, 1913. Ever since then America has been the target of a silent economic, political, military, cultural, and spiritual war.

The financial assassins of the IBR have used media deception, financial depressions, and usurious debt to turn America into its biggest colony and most treasured resource.

With America under its wing, the IBR has been able to wage a total war on the planet, the end result of which can be considered the last geographical, political and economic conquest: a global fascist state.

The IBR can be referred to by many names. It is most popularly known as the Illuminati. Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty said in his book 'The Secret Team' that Winston Churchill spoke of a "High Cabal," that made the world what it is.

Whatever name you want to give it, this godlike force has had a very evil presence in international affairs and human development for over two hundred years. It created the political and economic conditions for both World War I and World War II.

And it has done so again for World War III. It did this by putting Khomeini and the Islamic fundamentalists in power in Iran, staging the 9/11 attacks two decades later, and crashing the world economy at the turn of the first decade in this century.

One of the main goals of World War III is to destroy America as a global power. The foreign policy establishment who work in the CFR and other tentacles of the IBR are not loyal to Washington and the collective interests of the American people, but to the emerging global fascist state.

If their "new world order" becomes a global reality, it will mean the death of America and humanity, and the final victory of evil over good.

It is the obvious next step against the federal government-slash-Wall Street financial scam against the American people. Occupy Wall Street's (OWS) Oakland chapter is urging Americans to embrace "Occupy Vacant Properties" (OVP), a move to literally occupy, en masse, homes across the country that have been foreclosed upon and are sitting vacant.

Now before some readers start to bemoan the supposed illegality of the idea, consider this -- the entire housing bubble collapse is a direct result of the banking system's illegal mortgage scheme. Many families -- honest, hard-working families -- fell victim to the banks illegitimate lending schemes, and in turn lost their homes and, in some cases, their life savings as well.

And how did the banks deal with following this massive plundering of the American people? The federal government under both the Bush and Obama administrations rewarded them with billions of American dollars, rather than punishing them for their crimes against humanity. How about that for justice?

We are about to “move forward” with legislation that will put up the price of power and put pressure on real jobs in the real economy.

USA: Proposed inflation formula would reduce Social Security increases, raise taxes

WASHINGTON — Just as 55 million Social Security recipients are about to get their first benefit increase in three years, Congress is looking at reducing future raises by adopting a new measure of inflation that also would increase taxes for most familiesthe biggest impact falling on those with low incomes.

If adopted across the government, the inflation measure would have widespread ramifications. Increases in veterans' benefits and pensions for federal workers and military personnel would be smaller. And over time, fewer people would qualify for Medicaid, Head Start, food stamps, school-lunch programs and heating assistance than under the current measure.

Taxes would go up by $60 billion over the next decade because annual adjustments to the tax brackets would be smaller, resulting in more people jumping into higher tax brackets because their wages rose faster than the new inflation measure. Annual increases in the standard deduction and personal exemptions would become smaller.

Despite fierce opposition from seniors groups, the proposal is gaining momentum in part because it would let policymakers gradually cut benefits and increase taxes in a way that might not be readily apparent to most Americans.

A Downing Street ‘e-petition’ calling for action to restore Britain’s battered border controls has smashed through the 100,000-name barrier in less than one week.

Campaigners said the overwhelming response showed the public’s determination to finally bring immigration under control. Because it has passed the 100,000 mark, MPs must now at least consider holding a full debate on the petition’s call for drastic measures to stop the UK population from reaching 70million.

The ‘wake-up call’ will also heap fresh pressure on Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg to stop undermining Government attempts to reduce net migration to the ‘tens of thousands’. Migrationwatch chairman Sir Andrew Green, who organised the petition, said: ‘At last the British people have been able to express their deep opposition to mass immigration. This petition is a wake-up call for the political class who have condescended to the public for too long. To leap over the 100,000 hurdle in just one week is truly remarkable. I hope that the public will continue to sign up so as to send an unmistakeable call for action.’

At one stage, the e-petition – one of the fastest to reach the 100,000 threshold – was being signed by one person every three seconds. The campaign was launched by Sir Andrew with an article in last Tuesday’s Daily Mail. It comes amid huge public concern about official projections suggesting the UK’ s population will reach the 70million ‘tipping point’ within 16 years. That would mean adding the equivalent of seven cities the size of Birmingham to the population.

A YouGov opinion poll this week found eight out of ten English people think the country is ‘crowded’.

Sir Andrew said: ‘The Commons is not obliged to debate the petition but it would be amazing if they tried to brush aside such a powerful expression of public opinion on an issue crucial to the future of our society.

‘We hope the public will continue to sign up and add to the numbers so Parliament can be left in no doubt about the deep well of public concern that exists around this subject.’

Sir Andrew said there had long been strong public feeling on this issue but this has been the first opportunity to express it directly.

Sadly, it appears International Jewry has seriously infiltrated America’s Christian churches and the Vatican. The Jews are using American Christians, but one day will cast them by the wayside once their NWO power is complete.

Richardson makes his money pitting Christians against Muslims – the classic road to riches for stinking American Jews these days. Glenn Beck and World Net Daily are always pushing his crap (like the Ray Comfort video). If you don’t suck down his line of bull, he accuses you of being a left-winger, Nazi or even both.

The only thing I can find on his earlier life is that he used to live in the Middle East (Israel?), working as an artist (right). Then he had a major epiphany about the Muslims and suddenly became an expert on the Koran, writing a book “exposing the deadly threat to the West.” He seems to be quite prolific and has quite a few more books out, one recently on the Anti-Christ arising from the Muslim world (the 12th Imam stuff Zio suck-up Glenn Beck loves so much).

It doesn’t take a conspiracy theorist to see that Jewry has long been running serious psyops on America’s head. They are certainly embedding creeps like Richardson to jack up ”conservative” Christian Zionists into a state of paranoia over Muslims, eliminate regional enemies of Israel and finally, grease the wheels for the long-planned for final takeover of the Palestinian land.

He also tells us that being “anti-Zionist” is not really any different than a “anti-Semite.” To him, there is little distinction. Should anyone dare talk about Israel doing the least thing to the Palestinians, that’s a sure sign they are anti-Semites. He writes in World Net Daily: “Today it is common to hear those from the left adamantly declare that they are not anti-Semitic, but merely anti-Zionist. Such a distinction, however, is a thin smokescreen.”

What he wants is for White conservatives to consider anyone criticising Israel to be a “left-winger Nazi,” which is kind of stupid since they used to call such people “extremist right-winger Nazis.” The trouble is, many White liberals are now starting to get it about how Israel really behaves and finally can’t ignore it, unless they are lefty Jews, of course. There has been a spate of media lately about high achieving women in their late thirties who can't find suitable marriage partners. They don't realize that they aren't supposed to. Rockefeller social engineers want them to have careers instead of marriage and families.

UK: Pantomime Politics - 'Cameron protects the wealthiest 1%'

British Labour leader [Zionist Jew] Ed Miliband has accused Prime Minister [Zionist Rothschild 'yes man'] David Cameron of protecting the interests of “the wealthiest 1%” of the British society.

“David Cameron really is doing a terrific job of looking after the vested interests, the privileged, the powerful and the wealthiest one per cent. It's the other 99 per cent who feel desperately let down,” said Miliband in an interview with the Independent.

“David Cameron doesn't get it. It is not in his DNA. It is not what drives him in his politics. Working for a more responsible, fairer capitalism is not what gets him up in the morning. Even he would be hard pressed to claim it was his raison d'etre,” added Miliband.

Miliband's scathing attack on Cameron follows his description of the anti-capitalist protests as a “danger signal” of how millions of British people are dissatisfied with the principles that guide the British government's course of action.

Moreover, in a bid to crack down on protesters whose motto is “we are the 99%,” the British police arrested 11 anti-capitalist protesters on Sunday as they were marching from St Paul's Cathedral to Trafalgar Square.

In his attack on Cameron, Miliband maintained that the “wrong values” of Britain's top 1% are destroying the British society.

“Some of those in the top 1% display the wrong values and that percolates through to the rest of society. The unfair way rewards are handed out is partly why the middle is being squeezed,” he said.

Why Iceland Should Be in the News, But Is Not

An Italian radio program's story about Iceland’s on-going revolution is a stunning example of how little our media tells us about the rest of the world. Americans may remember that at the start of the 2008 financial crisis, Iceland literally went bankrupt. The reasons were mentioned only in passing, and since then, this little-known member of the European Union fell back into oblivion.

As one European country after another fails or risks failing, imperiling the Euro, with repercussions for the entire world, the last thing the powers that be want is for Iceland to become an example. Here's why:

Five years of a pure neo-liberal regime had made Iceland, (population 320 thousand, no army), one of the richest countries in the world. In 2003 all the country’s banks were privatized, and in an effort to attract foreign investors, they offered on-line banking whose minimal costs allowed them to offer relatively high rates of return. The accounts, called IceSave, attracted many English and Dutch small investors. But as investments grew, so did the banks’ foreign debt. In 2003 Iceland’s debt was equal to 200 times its GNP, but in 2007, it was 900 percent. The 2008 world financial crisis was the coup de grace. The three main Icelandic banks, Landbanki, Kapthing and Glitnir, went belly up and were nationalized, while the Kroner lost 85% of its value with respect to the Euro. At the end of the year Iceland declared bankruptcy.

Contrary to what could be expected, the crisis resulted in Icelanders recovering their sovereign rights, through a process of direct participatory democracy that eventually led to a new Constitution. But only after much pain.

Geir Haarde, the Prime Minister of a Social Democratic coalition government, negotiated a two million one hundred thousand dollar loan, to which the Nordic countries added another two and a half million. But the foreign financial community pressured Iceland to impose drastic measures. The FMI and the European Union wanted to take over its debt, claiming this was the only way for the country to pay back Holland and Great Britain, who had promised to reimburse their citizens.

Protests and riots continued, eventually forcing the government to resign. Elections were brought forward to April 2009, resulting in a left-wing coalition which condemned the neoliberal economic system, but immediately gave in to its demands that Iceland pay off a total of three and a half million Euros. This required each Icelandic citizen to pay 100 Euros a month (or about $130) for fifteen years, at 5.5% interest, to pay off a debt incurred by private parties vis a vis other private parties. It was the straw that broke the reindeer’s back.

What happened next was extraordinary. The belief that citizens had to pay for the mistakes of a financial monopoly, that an entire nation must be taxed to pay off private debts was shattered, transforming the relationship between citizens and their political institutions and eventually driving Iceland’s leaders to the side of their constituents. The Head of State, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, refused to ratify the law that would have made Iceland’s citizens responsible for its bankers’ debts, and accepted calls for a referendum.

Of course the international community only increased the pressure on Iceland. Great Britain and Holland threatened dire reprisals that would isolate the country. As Icelanders went to vote, foreign bankers threatened to block any aid from the IMF. The British government threatened to freeze Icelander savings and checking accounts. As Grimsson said: “We were told that if we refused the international community’s conditions, we would become the Cuba of the North. But if we had accepted, we would have become the Haiti of the North.” (How many times have I written that when Cubans see the dire state of their neighbor, Haiti, they count themselves lucky.)

In the March 2010 referendum, 93% voted against repayment of the debt. The IMF immediately froze its loan. But the revolution (though not televised in the United States), would not be intimidated. With the support of a furious citizenry, the government launched civil and penal investigations into those responsible for the financial crisis. Interpol put out an international arrest warrant for the ex-president of Kaupthing, Sigurdur Einarsson, as the other bankers implicated in the crash fled the country.

But Icelanders didn't stop there: they decided to draft a new constitution that would free the country from the exaggerated power of international finance and virtual money. (The one in use had been written when Iceland gained its independence from Denmark, in 1918, the only difference with the Danish constitution being that the word ‘president’ replaced the word ‘king’.)

To write the new constitution, the people of Iceland elected twenty-five citizens from among 522 adults not belonging to any political party but recommended by at least thirty citizens. This document was not the work of a handful of politicians, but was written on the internet. The constituent’s meetings are streamed on-line, and citizens can send their comments and suggestions, witnessing the document as it takes shape. The constitution that eventually emerges from this participatory democratic process will be submitted to parliament for approval after the next elections.

Some readers will remember that Iceland’s ninth century agrarian collapse was featured in Jared Diamond’s book by the same name. Today, that country is recovering from its financial collapse in ways just the opposite of those generally considered unavoidable, as confirmed yesterday by the new head of the IMF, Christine Lagarde to Fareed Zakaria. The people of Greece have been told that the privatization of their public sector is the only solution. And those of Italy, Spain and Portugal are facing the same threat.

They should look to Iceland. Refusing to bow to foreign interests, that small country stated loud and clear that the people are sovereign.

That’s why it is not in the news anymore.

Sheraton Hotels Implement Chinese-style Internet Censorship

Infowars, Activist Post, and Federal Jack blocked by Sheraton Hotel's 'harmful content' filter.

In the wake of the Department of Homeland Security announcing its propaganda partnership with hotels to recruit citizen spies, a loyal reader alerted us that the Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel in Danvers, Massachusetts is blocking access to alternative news websites using a content filter service called IBAHN. The firsthand account of which websites were blocked is as follows:

FYI, this past weekend I attempted to search forInfoWars, ActivistPost & FederalJack using public access computers in the lobby of a hotel run by Sheraton. All three websites were blocked from allowing the public to read or view the websites.

Apparently this Chinese-style Internet censorship is not new for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. In 2006, Sheraton Atlanta Hotel proudly announced a deal to use SonicWALL content filtering service. They were employed by Sheraton to provide "an additional layer of security to protect against today's most damaging Internet threats."

More specifically, they "filter inappropriate or unproductive Websites, block .exe attachment files, instant messaging applications and streaming media, and enable a new level of visibility into Internet usage patterns and number and type of sites blocked."

In 2008, writer and activist Robyn Ochs wasshocked to discover that she couldn't accessher own website in Sheraton's Starwood lobby. The hotel, which uses SiteCoach to censor their web content, told her:

The company that installs and maintains the systems have promoted these systems to a kid friendly, family friendly environment. I am sure you can understand that there are several sites on the internet that are viewed as offensive by the general public and for that reason, programs have been developed to ensure that the majority of viewers are met with non-offensive material.

In 2009, Ron Paul supporters reported that the Dulles Sheraton Hotel flagged Campaign for Libertyas containing harmful content. Also using SiteCoach, who cited the forbidden keyword "racist" as the reason for blocking CFL:

A friend checked out of the Dulles Sheraton Hotel yesterday morning. Before leaving to catch his flight, he used the hotel internet service to check the sites that he reads each day. He could not access Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty site. The message 'Code 451 – The access to the address above is restricted. According to our harmful content database, SiteCoach does not allow you to visit this page' appeared. When he tried again and held the key down a very brief message appeared that said 'Forbidden: keyword racist.'

A traveler review on Trip Advisor from earlier this year complained that Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel blocked websites they deemed morally dangerous; "This hotel also restricts their internet sites, so if you need access to site they find 'morally' dangerous to their network, they are blocked." He rated his stay two stars because of the censorship.

It seems contradictory that they would heavily censor alternative information on a public computer to promote a family friendly environment, while they sell hardcore porn with a click of the remote. Are there any potty-trained kids who don't know how to use a remote these days? Sheraton apparently believes porn is morally appropriate for their customers, but alternative ideas are harmful and dangerous.

People in law enforcement, in the military and inside the bureaucracies are not on the same page. People inside the system have been leaking information to the public at their own personal risk. The system is divided against itself too. False flag events have been averted by good police work and watchful people. It is becoming clear they are running out of cards to play. The people are watching and real mad.

The people at the top maybe laughing at us, but chances are not for long. Americans will not be slaves for much longer. I sense a push back coming that the empire cannot strike back. Wars will not work and false flags are not questionable now. They system and ruling establishment are scared rushing everything in place, they are exposed and trying to race against time. We just have to be vigilant and relentless exposing the light of truth. If we keep pressing to wake up as many people as possible. Family of Al Qaeda terrorist set to be evicted

The family of a convicted terrorist could lose their home after police enacted anti-terror laws to seize the property. Munir Farooqi, 54, was jailed in September after attempting to recruit two undercover police officers for jihad in Afghanistan. Now in the first case of its kind his £200,000 property could be confiscated because he turned it into a secret Al Qaeda recruiting school.

But Farooqi’s outraged family say they are entitled to a private and family life and will use the Human Rights Act to fight the move. Under Clause 23a of the Terrorism Act 2000 a convicted terrorist can have their assets seized by the state under a forfeiture order. Next year a court will decide whether the property was used as a base to commit the offences.

Farooqi, a market trader, used his stall in Manchester as a front to persuade people to join a holy ‘Jihad’ war against the UK. Targeting young British men, he used literature and films to brainwash them, successfully converting a former British soldier and an estate agent. Over a two year period Farooqi - who boasted of being a jihadist and was detained in Afghanistan in 2001- tried to persuade people visiting his stall to travel to training camps in Afghanistan.

RT: Israel vs Iran: Slide to war ‘irreversible’?

Speculation over a possible military strike on Iran by Israel continues as latest reports suggest Israeli Cabinet ministers previously opposed to attacking Iran have changed their minds. Senior members of the Israeli government have reportedly backed the possibility of striking Iran’s nuclear facilities, having been updated on Tehran’s secretive progress toward building a nuclear weapon, American sources told Fox television on Sunday.

Israeli President Shimon Peres reiterated Sunday that an attack on Iran is becoming increasingly likely. "The possibility of a military attack against Iran is now closer to being applied than the application of a diplomatic option," Peres told the Israel Hayom daily.

The UN nuclear watchdog is expected to present evidence that Iran has worked on nuclear weapons, specifically accusing Tehran of developing computer models of a nuclear warhead.

Israeli media has been rife with talk of divisions in the government on the issue of a pre-emptive strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities. Haaretz reported PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barack were seeking cabinet support for an attack.

Vice Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon opposed the move, arguing that international sanctions against Iran be given more time, and that the US should take the lead in any military operation. A Haaretz’s opinion poll found 41 per cent of Israelis would support an attack while 39 per cent would oppose it, 20 per cent were undecided.

On Monday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned against any military operations towards his country, saying Tehran will not allow any possible attacks.

“The US and Israel are trying to put the world together in a war against Iran, which has no nuclear weapons in its possession,” Russian ITAR-TASS news agency quotes the Iranian leader as saying in an interview to Egypt's Al-Akhbar newspaper. “Israel poses quite a bigger threat to the region, having in possession 300 nuclear warheads.”

However, Israel’s hawkishness may isolate it in a war-weary West. With NATO and US entrenched in Iraq and Afghanistan and having blown billions on Libya, unleashing a military operation against a regional powerhouse looks unlikely.

Israel’s main ally, the US, is heavy on anti-Iran rhetoric but denies seeking to provoke any conflict.

Crucially though, US officials failed to secure a commitment from Israel that it would coordinate a strike against Tehran with Washington, AFP reported.

French FM Alain Juppe also addressed the issue, stating "Everything must be done to avoid the irreversible." "We have imposed sanctions that continue to expand, we can toughen them to put pressure on Iran," Juppe told Europe 1 radio. "We will continue on this path because a military intervention could create a situation that completely destabilizes the region."

Moscow in the middle

Russia’s FM warned against attacking Iran, saying that the strike would be a serious mistake with unpredictable consequences. He underlined that there can be no military solutions to international conflicts.

“We get evidence of that every day when we see how problems around Iran are being solved: whether it’s in Iraq, or Afghanistan or what is happening in other countries in the region,” the minister said Monday.

But as focus turns to the IAEA report, Iran seems to be getting its defense in first. The Iranian FM has already accused the agency of "political" behavior and labeled the report "baseless."

A senior Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, appealed to IAEA chief Yukiya Amano not to defame the body by publishing “false” documents.

Anne Penketh of the British American Security Information Council believes that "Russia fears that ratcheting up the pressure" risks heading down the path to yet another war.

“Russia believes that diplomacy is the way to solve this crisis with Iran,” Penketh said. “My understanding is that this report aims to show that Iran has been working aspects which could only be related to a nuclear weapon. Now of course because of the Iraq precedent, when intelligence proved to be faulty, I think the burden of proof in this case is going to be much higher. And in fact my understanding is that the Russians and the Chinese were actually trying to persuade the IAEA Director General to postpone coming out with this report at this time.”

Russia and China warn America against Iran strike

Russia and China have expressed growing concern about a possible American military strike against Iran over its nuclear programme. And this week the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is to publish a damning report with 'compelling evidence lies' that Iran is secretly building an arsenal of nuclear warheads. Fresh details suggest that Iran could even be 'nuclear ready' within months. [Yes just like when Sadam had a stockpile of WMD's that could strike the UK in 40 minutes]

And laying bare the disturbing extent of the country’s atomic weapons programme will increase calls in the United States for pre-emptive action against the Islamic state. And that plays into the hands of Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who is said to be pushing for an airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. However, Iran has threatened to retaliate by blocking the Strait of Hormuz, severing 40 per cent of the world’s oil supplies.

Russia's foreign minister today became the latest critic of any proposed action against Iran warning it would be 'a very serious mistake fraught with unpredictable consequences.' Sergei Lavrov added: 'The only path for removing concerns is to create every possible condition' to resume the talks between Iran and six world powers, which broke down last December

China has also expressed concern about a military strike against Iran, but has also urged Tehran not to be confrontational with the IAEA. Moscow and Beijing have signaled concern that the report will box Iran into a corner and dim any chance of diplomacy resolving the dispute, which has the potential to spark a wider conflict in the Middle East.

'The Russians in particular have been lobbying quite intensively,' one senior Western diplomat said.

Meanwhile former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has weighed in to slam Iran saying the U.S. should consider even tougher penalties against the Iranian government and 'be doing everything we can to bring it down.' Rice told ABC's This Week that the U.S. should never take the option of military force off the table when it comes to dealing with Iran.

The current Iranian government is trying to obtain a nuclear weapon and has repressed its own people, she said. 'The regime has absolutely no legitimacy left,' she added.

Israeli President Shimon Peres has also expressed a determination to launch a military strike against Iran. 'The possibility of a military attack against Iran is now closer to being applied than the application of a diplomatic option,' he said over the weekend. 'I estimate that intelligence services of all these countries are looking at the ticking clock, warning leaders that there was not much time left,' he added.

Republican candidate Rick Perry, last week came out to back an Israeli air strike on Iran. The Texas Governor said he would support Israel on the matter if there is proof Tehran is moving closer to having a nuclear weapon.

The news comes as a former Soviet weapons expert and scientists in Pakistan and North Korea are all believed to have aided Iran in its nuclear quest, according to the United Nations. [Yes thats right bring other targets into the mix: Russia, Pakistan and N.Korea]

USA: 'Attack Iran' and AIPAC's infamous chutzpah

Lobbying for a US war with Iran, AIPAC is pushing a bill that would prohibit diplomacy between the two nations.

Wasting no time after its success in getting the administration to oppose Palestinian statehood at the United Nations, and still celebrating the UNESCO funding cutoff, AIPAC has returned to its number one priority: Pushing for war with Iran.

The Israelis have, of course, played their own part in the big show. In the past few weeks, Israel has been sending outsignals that it is getting ready to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities (and embroil the United States in its most calamitous Middle East war yet).

But most observers do not believe an Israeli attack is imminent. (If it were, would Israel telegraph it in advance?) The point of the Israeli threats is to get the United States and the world community to increase pressure on Iran with the justification that unless it does, Israel will attack.

Naturally, the United States Congress, which gets its marching orders on Middle East policy from the lobby - which, in turn, gets its marching orders from Binyamin Netanyahu - is rushing to do what it is told. If only Congress addressed joblessness at home with the same alacrity.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee hurriedly convened this week to consider a new "crippling sanctions" bill that seems less designed to deter an Iranian nuclear weapon than to lay the groundwork for war.

UK: Police will have the right to fire rubber bullets on student protesters

Police are prepared to use plastic bullets for the first time on the British mainland if student protests planned for tomorrow erupt into violence. Scotland Yard revealed yesterday that the baton rounds have been authorised for a student fees march in London amid fears it could be hijacked by anarchists and troublemakers. Baton gun rounds have never been used on the British mainland, but they have been linked to deaths in Northern Ireland.

Officers stressed yesterday that they were not planning to use baton rounds and they would only be a last resort if all other tactics had failed and officers’ lives were at risk. 

Commander Simon Pountain, who is in charge of the police operation, said armoured vehicles, known as Jankels, would also be on standby if the protests saw a repeat of this summer riots or the chaos last year during the student fees demonstrations.

The march, organised by the National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts, is due to go from Bloomsbury in Central London to the City. It is being kept away from the St Paul’s anti-capitalism protest but activists from the cathedral camp are expected to join in.

Mr Pountain said baton rounds and Jankels would be available in reserve after the latter proved effective when they were brought in to push back rioters in Clapham and Hackney in August. ‘I would not be putting baton rounds on the streets but I have asked for them to be available,’ he said.

Jenny Jones, a Green Party member of the Metropolitan Police Authority and London Mayoral candidate reacted with horror. ‘Any officer that shoots a student with a baton round will have to answer to the whole of London,’ she said.

UK: We'll never know how many terrorists or criminals got in, admits Home Secretary

Theresa May is facing fresh questions about her judgment after it emerged that she extended a secret relaxation of Britain’s border controls without having detailed information about the security implications of the move.

A leaked document shows that in July the Home Secretary authorised UK Border Agency staff not to carry out full checks on the passports of hundreds of thousands of people arriving at British airports and ports for a six-week period.

In September, Mrs May extended the scheme – which was never made public – for another six weeks, despite having only “very limited information” about the consequences of the change.

The leaked document suggested officials had been given discretion further to relax passport controls without seeking ministerial approval. Last night the Home Office insisted that this was a long-standing measure to allow staff to deal with emergencies.

In the House of Commons, Mrs May came under intense pressure as she was accused by Labour of giving the “green light” to weaker border controls and Right-wing Conservatives questioned her judgment. She insisted she stood by her actions, but admitted that she did not know how many suspected terrorists, criminals and illegal immigrants had been able to enter the country under the relaxed checking system she put in place.

The Daily Telegraph reported that in July Mrs May ordered the UKBA’s Border Force to reduce the checks it applied to people entering Britain with European passports. As that “pilot scheme” continued, border staff then relaxed the checks applied to non-European passports too.

Mrs May accused Brodie Clark, the suspended head of the Border Force, of ordering that second relaxation without her permission. “The paperwork will show without ambiguity that the relaxation of checks that occurred was not sanctioned by me,” she told MPs, adding that Mr Clark could face criminal charges for his actions.

“As a result of these unauthorised actions, we will never know how many people entered the country who should have been prevented from doing so,” Mrs May said.

A controversial carbon tax is set to pass the Australian Senate this week, even as the Irish government has decided it will put its own climate legislation on the back burner and a new British study finds that after two brutally harsh winters in a row, the Brits are more concerned with heating their homes than meeting their legally-binding emission reduction targets.

Are we witnessing the withering denouement of the wholeglobal warming climate change climate disruption fiasco? If so, it couldn’t have come at a better time; the glitterati of the Hollywood “activist” community are preparing to descend on Durban for COP17, the annual UN self-immolation-fest where carbon eugenicists and Hollywood hypocrites congregate each year to do their thing…and by “their thing” I mean flying thousands of miles in their private jets and driving the few miles from their airport in their stretch limousines to lecture the little people about having the audacity to want to take one flight a year to go on vacation (when they can afford it). Did I mention that the COP conference generates as much as 41,000 tons of carbon “equivalent,” roughly equal to the same amount of emissions produced by a city the size of Manchester in the same period?

The UN climate conference has descended into self-parodying farce, as country after country is turning away from economically disastrous climate policies in the name of crackpot science claiming that humans can prevent the global thermostat from going up 2°C. Perhaps the nations of the world have finally realized that all of these numbers -- the 350 ppm of carbon dioxide and the 2°C warming and the 50% emission cuts -- are all completely arbitrary. Or perhaps they realized that climate science increasingly relies on computer models instead of actual science. Maybe it’s becauserecent studies disprove the carbon dioxide/temperature link at the very heart of the scare? Or it could be that the globe has failed to warm over the past decade despite the biggest spikes in carbon emissions yet.

Of course, the warmists will tell you that global warming in fact predicts the bitterly cold winters and record snowfalls across the Northern hemisphere in recent years. But then they also said that global warming predicted less snowfall. They will also tell you (in peer-reviewed literature, no less) that manmade carbon emissions are behind the speeding up of the Gulf Stream and the slowing down of the Gulf Stream, an increase in malaria and a decrease in malaria, more North Atlantic cyclones and less North Atlantic cyclones, the embiggenning of squids and the ensmallening of squids, less rain in the Sahel and more rain in the Sahel (and even less or more rain in the Sahel) and dozens of other cases in which every possible scenario leads to exactly one culprit: human civilization.
