It’s no longer a surprise that a media war is being waged against Gaddafi and Libya. In March, all news were breaking and highly contradictive towards each other. A month passed until Libyans finally learned to disprove the lies, but while the news themselves grew relatively neutral, a new wave of misinformation was being prepared. It arose in global media approximately on 15th of August, when a Saudi Arabia newspaper Asharq Alawsat told that Gaddafi is allegedly ill and ready to leave the country. Saudis, mortal enemies of Muammar Gaddafi, were, of course, such a reliable source, that all other papers followed.
In the same time news channels were choking with new victories of the insurgency. It looked like it took rebels a couple of hours to occupy a city, making poor Moussa Ibrahim steam from his ears, proving to journalists that it is virtually impossible. All this show was a careful preparation for the main course – the taking of Tripoli. But in spite of mercenaries parachuted from Misurata to the south, despite attempts to cut the road from Tunisia, despite the insurgents’ zerg rush on all fronts, much of the rebel success remained on the screen. And cities cannot be taken by illusion. Therefore, NATO decided to pursue the most risky way: beginning the ground operation.
To cover it up and in the same time spread chaos and panic among Libyans, a set of Tripoli’s Green Square, Bab al-Azizya and several streets was constructed in Doha, Qatar, and videos of successful uprising in Tripoli and its takeover by the rebels were being made. The directors used the same stratagem that their civilian counterparts in Vietnam War movies: to draw their supposed victories. On the 20th of August, Twitter, the major supplier of nonexistent witnesses came to life, like a shelled hornet nest. Rebels reported about fights in the city center – with smartphones in the free hand, no doubt. Some have gone further and managed alone to fully capture the west of the city. With the blessings of the almighty Photoshop pictures of rebels against Tripoli and Zawya were shown.

Simultaneously, dozens of armed people from Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt leaked to several areas of the city, shooting and threatening Libyans. Several Apaches flew in and bombed. The premier of the Qatari film failed at the box office, and the saboteurs were quickly dealt with, but they turned out to be a distraction. NATO marines and mercenaries were arriving from the sea in small fast boats.

Too great a degree of affection for Rebekah Brooks, the ousted News International chief executive at the centre of the phone hacking scandal, is now regarded in Westminster as the love that dare not speak its name.
One Whitehall toiler tells Mandrake, however, that David Cameron made no secret of his affection for the flame-haired temptress while she was a power in the land. "I used to see him signing letters to her with the words 'love, David'," he tells me. "I suppose I should have known that this was going to land us into trouble, sooner or later."
One could but wonder if the Prime Minister, who is on holiday with his family in Cornwall, subscribes to Virgil's view that "love conquers all" and has been in touch with Mrs Brooks to console her about the events that precipitated her resignation from News International. His spokesman did not, alas, respond to my text.
Still, Mrs Brooks may not have that much need of a shoulder to cry upon. As I have disclosed, she retains the services of a News International chauffeur, and, while she has given up some directorships after I pointed out that she remained on Rupert Murdoch's payroll, the old boy has told her to "travel the world" and assured her that he will look after her once the scandal has died down.

UK: Overseas workers preferred to unskilled school leavers in job market
Unemployment in 16-24 age group set to rise further as demand for skilled workers from abroad at record levels, says CIPD
School leavers are being pushed to the back of the jobs queue as Britain's employers increasingly turn to migrant labour to fill vacancies.
The Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development said demand for workers from overseas had reached record levels because companies felt young peoplein the UK lacked the skills to make them employable from abroad are willing to work for lower wages.
With unemployment in the 16-24 age group already standing just below the 1m-level, the CIPD warned that the jobless rate for the young was likely to increase further over the coming months as school leavers struggled to find work.
Its quarterly survey of the labour market found that the government's cap on non-EU workers had been ineffective since firms had switched to employing staff from within the European Union, where there are no barriers to labour mobility.
The CIPD said companies wanted action from the government to improve the work prospects of UK school leavers. When asked, respondents identified literacy (53%) and numeracy (42%), as well as good customer service skills (40%) and good communication skills (40%).
Gerwyn Davies, public policy adviser, CIPD, said: "Youth unemployment looks set to rise further amid employer concerns about the employability of young people. The migration cap is stemming the flow of skilled non-EU migrant workers on the one hand, but increasing the supply of EU workers with the other, which highlights the relative ineffectiveness of the cap in bringing net migration levels down.
"Employers seem eager to take full advantage of this, to make use of their positive attitude and their skills. The perception among many of our members is that too many young people in the UK do not have these qualities, which may explain why fewer young people are being hired. At a time when many school leavers will be looking for work and the number of job opportunities is falling, youth unemployment could increase more sharply in the coming months. The government therefore needs to redouble efforts to ensure the education and skills system is fit for purpose to ensure young people can find a foothold in an increasingly competitive jobs market."

NATO's planned bloodbath in Tripoli ~ Pravda
Through August 22, air operations included 19,877 sorties and 7,505 strike ones, with no elaboration of their intensity or deadliness. What is known is that powerful, high-explosive munitions are used, able to cause deadly force casualties and destruction.
In recent days, strikes intensified. Without them, rebels would disintegrate and collapse. Most of them are little more than ragtag mercenary hooligans, imperial tools, used for what won't benefit them. It's largely true of all wars, especially America's waged for conquest, dominance, plunder and exploitation, never for democracy or humanitarian reasons Washington doesn't give a damn about and never did.
NATO is no different. Established in April 1949, a previous article said it calls itself a "political and military alliance for peace and security." In fact, it was more for offense than defense. Cold War hysteria was contrived to incite fear and assure an arms race for corporate enrichment. Napoleon once said, "Men are moved by two levers only: fear and self-interest."
No celebrations in the future for NATO ~ Pravda
They keep putting out reports that their terrorist clients have taken A, B and C, when it's total fabrication. A few of the terrorists get together and take a picture, trying to make themselves look like there are more of them than there really are, they ship the picture to their masters and instant Hollywood, next thing you know the rag group gets chased away or better yet wasted by Libyan armed forces.
There are nightly poundings on Tripoli. Now there's the added reports of heavy gunfire, with ragtag terrorists again trying to pretend that they are more in number than they are...quicky chased away.
They claim the capital is surrounded, cut off. The claims are total fabrication. They claim the government is about to collapse, again, total fabrication.
In the meantime, the western corporate media is pretending that victory is near for their terrorist stooges, when the truth is the country is getting more and more terrorist free every day. Rather than any concern about being surrounded, Tripoli comes out to celebrate continued successes and freedom. No one is ready to give up everything for the colonial ambitions of the west.
You can almost sense the blood lust and the desperation of NATO, desperate for some kind of success, any kind of success, even if it's make believe media created. So there will be no celebrations in Paris, London or Washington.
Confidence is high in Libya. People are banding together more than ever before since the threat to their way of life has never been greater. The aggressors, the invaders, the bombers have won no one's hearts and minds.

Fed Reserve $1.2 Trillion Give-Away to Wall Street
When the mainstream media is reporting stories like this, you know it is so serious that it cannot be ignored, even if they wanted to. Today Bloomberg has revealed that the “Wall Street Aristocracy” received a staggering $1.2 trillion in loans. Yes, you read that right: $1.2 trillion.
The private Federal Reserve calls these hand-outs to their corporate cronies “emergency loans” but in reality they are nothing more than friends giving friends unfathomable amounts of money in order to “keep the economy from plunging into depression”.
Of course Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Bloomberg opt to characterize the giveaway of public funds as legitimate “unprecedented efforts” to help our withering economy, when this is far from the case as we have seen from the entire “stimulus” package that has just drivenAmerican deeper into the black hole of debt.
If Bernanke actually cared one iota about getting the American economy back on track, he would have given the money to the people of the United States.
This $1.2 trillion would be able to cover almost the entire 6.5 million delinquent and foreclosed mortgages of struggling American citizens. Instead, and not at all surprisingly, Bernanke and the Fed opted instead to give the money to their buddies.
The preponderance of the funds went to Morgan Stanley, who received $107.3 billion. Second was Citigroup, receiving $99.5 billion, and third was Bank of America who received $91.4 billion, according to information obtained via FOIA requests, months of litigation, and an act of Congress on behalf of Bloomberg.
Nearly half of the Federal Reserve’s top 30 borrowers as measured by peak balances were not American. A disturbing amount of money, which was given with American citizens as collateral, went directly to offshore European banks.
The Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh received $84.5 billion, UBS AG out of Zurich got $77.2 billion, German Hypo Real Estate Holding AG received $28.7 billion. Bloomberg reports that this equals an average of $21 million for every single one of Hypo Real Estate Holding’s 1,366 employees.

LONDON, Aug. 22 (UPI) — From a record-breaking drought that has devastated much of the U.S. South and keeps getting worse, to the U.S. economy and what Time magazine’s cover story calls “The Decline and Fall of Europe (and maybe the West)”; civil wars in Libya and Syria; renewed terrorism in Iraq and endless fighting in Afghanistan, the good news was hard to detect.
The sudden uprising of jobless youth from poor families in what is arguably the most unequal society in Europe left London ablaze, shook the British establishment to its foundations and spotlighted the widening gap between rich and poor all over Europe.
The 27-nation European Union and its 17-nation common euro currency appear to be unraveling. Some 20 percent of European youth are jobless.
Income disparities throughout the European Union and in the United States show roughly 1 percent of the population controlling 42 percent of a nation’s wealth and taking in a quarter of the country’s income.
When the rising tide lifted all boats, the wealthiest could take credit for building bigger and better boats. But the current global receding tide has beached 14 million in the United States (excluding those who no longer qualify for compensation), while in the European Union the number, currently at 10 percent, is expected to crest at 16 million by 2013.
Worldwide, the current labor stats indicate 180 million looking for work. In Israel , normally a highly disciplined country of 6 million, 250,000 echoed the British underclass with popular anger against a government unable to deliver the goods. And in the Arab world, from Libya to Egypt to Syria , the Arab Spring is now a distant memory.
After 42 years in power in Libya , Moammar Gadhafi’s regime is history but unmentioned during NATO’s five-month bombing campaign is that the victorious rebel regime of Benghazi is heavily infiltrated by Islamist extremists.

US emerging as 'food-stamp country'
The United States has gradually become a food-stamp nation as high costs and lower wages make the lives of average citizens more challenging.
According to a recent report published by Reuters on Monday, there are over 46 million people in the US living on food stamps, which means that about 15 percent of the country's population can only afford their living expenses through government handouts.
The figure indicates a 74-percent rise in the number of food stamp recipients since 2007, just before the financial crisis and a deep recession hit the US, leading to mass job losses.
About 40 percent of American recipients of supplemental nutrition assistance are those households that have at least one wage earner but could still hardly afford monthly rent and utility payments.
The maximum amount a family-of-four can receive in monthly food stamps is $668, which can only be used to purchase food.
In May 2011, a third of all the people in the state of Alabama were put on food coupons. Many of them were those that were hit by a series of devastating tornadoes.
The United States Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as the Food Stamp Program, is a program that provides assistance to low- and no-income people and families living in the US.

Progressive Radio News Hour contributor Mahdi Nazemroaya's overnight email said: "NATO landed insurgents in (Tripoli) harbor. They are attacking my hotel. I almost got shot. They're still lying a lot (about claims of controlling the capital), but we are in real danger." He's saying that armed guerrilla gangs, mercenaries, indistinguishable from (also armed) Tripoli residents, are waging street warfare. Russia Today reported about 1,300 deaths. No one knows for sure.
However, events are fast-moving and chaotic. On Russia Today, Nazemroaya also said heavy looting occurred, including insurgents breaking into hotel rooms and ransacking them. In addition, he said NATO WANTS A BLOODBATH. In fact, they're getting one, exacerbated by intense terror bombing, deliberately targeting civilians.

It dates back to the mid-nineteen-fifties, to an effort to find oil in southern Libya but instead led to the discovery of enormous quantities of Ice-Age water. Perfect water, beautiful water, fresh water in almost unlimited amounts underground. It is said that if Libyawere to use it to its maximum it will last at least a hundred years, probably longer. In the last week the pipes (used to carry that water) were bombed by NATO; and the factory which made these huge pipes was also destroyed. Another effort at "humanitarianism" if you've never seen it! These are war crimes of the first magnitude.
Susan Lindauer: I was the US intelligence asset covering the Libyan Embassy at the United Nations, from 1995 to 2003; right up until the war with Iraq. I'm a fair broker on this because I have pushed Libya to do things that they did not want to do and at the same time I have known them very well. I am convinced that this war is a catastrophe. It is totally unnecessary and unlawful. At least in Iraq we had a phony justification for the war but it was a false justification entirely: But in Libya that haven't even tried to give a pretext for doing this. They have just starting attacking and bombing for no reason.
JR: They're not even pretending anymore to use stealth to try to hide their nepharious genocidal actions; they just "do it!"
SL: This is crazy! Gadaffi has been in power for 41 years. However he also is the most advanced on women's rights and modernist Islam in the whole Arab World. Most of the Arab Rulers have been in for thirty to forty years. The Jordan Royal family has ruled for a hundred years. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, all these countries are in the same situation. So for us to pick on Libya there was no provocation there was. . .
JR: There were other reasons, but the water issue would have made Libya completely independent: Self-sufficient and it would have made the Sahara desert; and in fact is making the Sahara bloom the most beautiful green you've ever seen: It's an incredible project. Not only that but Gadaffi had set up a new financial paradigm as it were; which by-passed the Rothschild Cartel completely and it set up a new way of trading and exchange in North Africa. They didn't like that they wanted his oil and this water too, I guarantee you that.
SL: I can tell you they will never allow the country to be torn in half.
JR: Who is 'They'?
SL: The people of Libya. There are several reasons that have nothing to do with humanitarian interests. Obviously one is the oil. It costs one dollar per barrel of oil to get at Libya's oil. Libya is willing to sell it toyou; so there's no reason, you don't have to go into Libya to force them to sell it to you. The other thing is that Libya has vast reserves of gold. And Libya was in the process of championing an African Dinar, backed by gold. That would rival the Euro.
JR: Well it would have sidestepped the whole Rothschild game.
SL: And with Libya's ties to China as far as oil sales, and the major contracts for oil sales going to China; using an African Dinar, a gold-backed Dinar this would have put Africa; combined with the water: This would have made a desert country very fertile, a desert country capable of producing food ~
JR: On the way to becoming the bread-basket of Northern Africa.
SL: That's right and NATO has now destroyed 22,000 acres of agricultural lands." (1) Operation Mermaid Dawn the slaughter beginsIn researching this; it is now being reported that Gadaffi has been captured."On Saturday evening, at 8pm, when the hour of Iftar marked the breaking of the Ramadan fast, the NATO command launched its "Operation Mermaid Dawn" against Libya.
The Sirens were the loudspeakers of the mosques, which were used to launch Al Qaeda's call to revolt against the Qaddafi government. Immediately the sleeper cells of the Benghazi rebels went into action. These were small groups with great mobility, which carried out multiple attacks. The overnight fighting caused 350 deaths and 3,000 wounded.
The situation calmed somewhat on Sunday during the course of the day. Then, a NATO warship sailed up and anchored just off the shore at Tripoli, delivering heavy weapons and debarking Al Qaeda jihadi forces, which were led by NATO officers.
Israel Launches Bloody Reprisals in Egypt and Gaza
The attacks killed eight people, including two Israeli security personnel, and injured dozens more. While Israeli security forces had been warned of an attack from Egypt’s Sinai desert, they appear to have taken no additional precautions. They pursued the attackers, whom eyewitnesses said were wearing Egyptian army uniforms, presumably stolen, on land and by air, killing at least seven people, including several Egyptian policemen.
This has sparked the worst diplomatic crisis between the two countries since the signing of the 1979 Camp David Accords, with Egypt threatening to withdraw its ambassador from Israel.
Israel sought to get the United Nations Security Council to condemn the attacks as acts of terrorism, but this was knocked back by Lebanon, which currently has a seat on the Security Council.
No group has taken responsibility for Thursday’s attacks, the deadliest in several years. Hamas, the Islamist party that controls the Gaza Strip, denied responsibility for the attacks, which appear to have taken it by surprise. It accused Israel of using the attacks to justify aggression against Gaza.
Shin Bet, Israel’s intelligence agency, claimed the attacks were launched by the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), a splinter from Fatah which has launched several attacks in recent years and was involved with the Islamic Army in the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2006. Nevertheless, the Israeli government still blamed Hamas, saying that at the very least it played an indirect role in aiding militants who travelled from Gaza through the Sinai to attack Israel’s southern border. Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman blamed the Palestinian Authority for the attacks.
Without having provided any evidence linking the attack to either Hamas or the PRC, Israel’s security forces carried out bombing raids on Gaza, killing seven people, including two senior PRC members, a three-year-old child and a 13-year-old boy. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called this “swift justice.”
Abu Mujahed, the spokesman for the PRC, while denying involvement in Thursday’s attacks, praised them and opposed any ceasefire with Israel—an implicit attack on Hamas, which has, since Israel’s 2008-09 military offensive, largely observed a ceasefire and has reached a deal with the Palestinian Authority, which controls the West Bank and works closely with Israel.
Israel’s targeted assassinations prompted militants, including the PRC, to fire dozens of rockets on southern Israeli towns and cities over the weekend, killing one person in Be’er Sheba. Hamas’ military wing also fired rockets into Israel.

Muammar Gaddafi's once powerful son, Saif al-Islam, made a defiant appearance in Tripoli last night to disprove the revolutionaries' claim to have arrested him and to proclaim ultimate victory.
Saif al-Islam, 39, arrived in an armoured vehicle waving two fingers in a victory sign at a hotel where foreign journalists are staying in an area of the Libyan capital still under the regime's control.
"I am here to refute the lies [that he had been arrested]," he said.
"You have seen how the Libyan people rose up together, men and women, to break the backbone of the rebels, rats and gangs yesterday and today," he was reported to have said.
He then took reporters on a drive in an armoured convoy through areas of the city still under the regime's control including the Gaddafi family compound and military barracks where scores of men waited to receive guns to join the fighting.
"We are going to hit the hottest spots in Tripoli," he said.
The revolutionaries claimed to have arrested three of Gaddafi's sons as they seized control of Tripoli. Saif al-Islam's detention was confirmed by the prosecutor of the international criminal court (ICC), Luis Moreno-Ocampo, who is seeking to have him extradited to stand trial at The Hague for crimes against humanity over the violence unleashed by the regime against the uprising in which hundreds of unarmed people were shot. British Ground Troops to be sent to Libya to help the Al Qaeda Rebels Defeat Gaddafi
A spokesman insisted a deployment remained ‘unlikely’ at this stage – but the development will fuel fears of ‘mission creep’ and that Britain will slowly be sucked into a long campaign. Two hundred troops are on standby to fly to the North African state at 24 hours’ notice if needed. The Book of Mormon also explains that it is the goal of these secret societies to enslave mankind. Today, because of MK-Ultra type mind control, and Satanic Ritual Abuse, we can see just what kind of slavery these secret societies have in mind. The Patriot Act, 911, FEMA and Homeland Security are doing their best to make sure that physical slavery is not to far behind.
The Mormon Church Leadership had their opportunity to purge out the Satanists when the Glenn Pace memo was circulated. the memo identified numerous victims of Satanic Ritual Abuse within the Church. Instead, the information was suppressed and Glenn Pace was reassigned. Hell Minus One author, Anne Davis, had written confessions from her abusers. When she took her documents to Church leaders she was told to "forgive" the perps and another massive cover-up ensued with the help of the Mormon owned media. She ended up committing suicide.
One of the characteristics of the Secret Societies, in the Book of Mormon, is that they sought out the "Praise of the World" instead of that praise which can only come from God. Today's Mormon Leadership glories in worldly accolades and the fact that persecution of the Church is in the distant past. The Bible teaches that all who live godly after Jesus Christ will suffer persecution in this world. Jesus taught that the world would hate true Christians. He also told us not to worry about it as He had overcome the world.
What A Week For WAR!!

Folks, what a week for war! Nearly unbearable. And on so many fronts. And on so many inocents...unarmed innocents. And on children. Seems we have to speak louder. Talk harder. Act stronger. It's up to each of us to get that more fully defined and take some steps for sanity.
The war escalation is the biggest and bloodiest we've seen since the early invasion of Iraq. If only more of us wanted to do more to make a change-of-course difference, especially to somehow help those who are being attacked.
So Few Care Anymore Many activists have given much of their lives to the peace effort, but we are a tiny minority. Many brave journalists continue, year after year, to bring us the truth about on-going and augmenting genocide. But again, they are a minority compared to the mainstream media pervasiveness.
How to transform this minority into a majority and find a way to end the lethal sin of war? Where are the New-Agers? The love-and-peace people? The Professors? Their students? The environmentalists? The theologians? The church folk? The Buddhists, the oh-so-spiritual Buddhists? The doctors? The gay community? The poets? The musicians? The artists? The damn artists! Was a time when they were the cutting-edge, fiercely sayin' what needed to be said, holding back nothing! Where are they?!! Yes, a handful, here and there, but not yet enough to turn the tide. When's the last time you were able to move someone from complacency to activism? Not an easy chore, but utterly necessary.
I guess I'm writing out of frustration that so few are responding appropriately to the atrocities and to the global expanse of tyranny. It's like their humanity has been beaten out of them. Yeah, decades of eatin' what the system served, and comfortable with looking away. We keep banging the gong and they plug their ears.
Some say, "Thanks for what you do," as if that exonerates them for not standing with us. As if we didn't desperately need them. How to convey critical mass? How to awaken compassion? Or at least the will to live free? So many questions; so few answers. I know that as I type, people are being bombed and killed. Lives are being shattered and erased.
We know not what a privilege it is that we still have shelter, food, and clean running water, and that there are yet no bombers overhead. But, as you know, they're over our brothers and sisters.
The 10th anniversary of one of history's greatest lies approaches. That twin-towers-event that launched the death knell into full throttle. I hope many gather on that day, Sunday, 9/11 and once again stand to expose the deceit and demand the truth. I plan on it. And that just might be the day for all of us to earnestly reach out to others, encouraging them to work for peace, and inviting them to stand with us. There is great hope in bringing up the numbers.
